In April 2020, new ownership took over The Ooltewah Club and has invested over eight million dollars into the club. See a list of the exciting renovations and upcoming projects below!

Completed in 2022

Major pool renovation completed including: new coping, new plumbing, relocated pump room, conversion to salt water, improved kiddie pool with water jets and activities, new skimmers, resurfacing of both the main pool and kiddie pool, and expanded pool deck installed with “cool deck” features
New short game facility equipped with putting green, chipping green, expanded parking, and pavilion area has been completed and installed
Sand bottle dispenser on course has been completed and installed
Resdesigned restrooms inside the clubhouse with additional accommodations and improved aesthetics – Completed and Installed
Introduction of designated fishing areas completed with signage and benches
Construction of new grand entrance with porticoshare and lobby/reception area.

2021 – Great Things Happened

Full course fertility spread has been completed
Received new, top of the line maintenance equipment
Implemented new mowing patterns on the fairways and green surrounds
Irrigation repairs and enhancements have been made to increase the effectiveness of watering promoting better overall turf health
Both back nine and front nine collars have been stripped and re-sodded with a new variety of Bermudagrass
Tree removal around the has been undertaken to promote better airflow and sun exposure
New cart path installed on hole #3
Improvements to the teeing complexes (Hole #3, #8, and #10)
The strategic removal of trees throughout the course to improve turf conditions
Expanded and added new cart path areas
Conversion of the dry creek bed on hole #13 to a continually flowing creek
Rerouting of the golf course
Two complimentary water stations added

New Greens

Completed removal of old greens on the front nine
Sprigged and growing in new TifEagle bermudagrass greens on the front nine to complement the back nine greens installed in 2019.

Bunker Work

Recontoured front and back nine bunkers and replaced drainage
Full course install of bunker capillary concrete drain system
Special bunker sand installation providing more consistent sand and less maintenance

New Tee Projects

New green and tee complexes on #1
Tees on #6 were expanded and re-grassed with zoysia
Added new Zoysia tees on #5, #7 and #8
New tee box was added on #12 to lengthen the hole, converting it to a par 4
New tee box on hole #3

Driving Range

New expanded driving range tee
New target greens strategically placed on range
New entrance and parking area at the range
New range accessories (dividers, bag stands, benches, club cleaning station, etc.)
A more effective pump and stormwater system
